Goa lies in the region called as the Konkan. It is bounded by the western state
of Maharashtra in the north and the southern state of Karnataka from the east

The state of Goa is divided in two districts-North Goa and South Goa. The
headquarter of the North Goa district is in Panaji and of the south district is
in Madgaon. A district collector governs each district, who is an administrator
appointed by the Government of India.

tourist cities of Goa are Panaji or Panjim, Margao or Madgaon, Vasco Da Gama and
